The 10th\nINDUSTRY DAYS and the concurrently held 11th AUTOMOTIVE HUNGARY exhibitions\nfinished in HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition Center. This year, the\nkey topics of Hungary\u2019s largest business and professional meeting were green\nenergy, alternative propulsion systems, new forms of energy storage as well as\nnew solutions in energy efficiency. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly 14 thousand people<\/strong> visited the INDUSTRY DAYS\nand AUTOMOTIVE HUNGARY exhibitions this year. Coming from 18 countries, 370\nexhibitors showcased the latest industrial and automotive developments and\ntrends in the three pavilions of HUNGEXPO Budapest Congress and Exhibition\nCenter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Held concurrently with the\nexhibitions, the professional programmes attracted a lot of visitors. Organized\nby the Ministry for Culture and Innovation as a full-day event, the\nprofessional forum \u201cResearch and innovation in the service of green transition\u201d\nran with a full house, just as Portfolio-MAGE\u2019s Automotive Industry 2023\nconference, the E-mobility roundtable as well as the presentations on battery\nmanufacturing and hydrogen propulsion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many participants attended DigiLean Association\u2019s\npresentations and the professional forum of the Hungarian Association of\nPackaging and Materials Handling, but the plastic industry, labour safety panel\ndiscussions and conferences were also highly popular, along with the lecture on\nProfitable Industrial 3D Printing, which focused on the 3D printing of diverse\nbase materials from polymers to steel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditionally announced each year,\nthe purpose of the GRAND PRIZE<\/strong> is to recognize the best innovative\nproducts, procedures and technical services available in Hungary. The prizes\nwere presented in the opening ceremony of the exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s GRAND PRIZE recipients are:\nB Consulting Ltd, DMG MORI HEITEC Digital Ltd, Fath Ltd, FANUC Hungary Ltd, M+E\nMachine Tool Trading Ltd, Oxyma Systems Water and Air Management Technology Ltd\nand Werth Hungary Ltd. SPECIAL PRIZES were awarded to Filamania Ltd and\nJouleing Ltd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the key elements of AUTOMOTIVE\nHUNGARY was the B2B supplier forum this year again. The purpose of this closed,\nregistration-based forum is to allow buyers to learn more about less known\nsuppliers who have already passed the preliminary qualification phase, as well\nas meet them personally and potentially do business with them. Over 200\nbusiness meetings were conducted between 65 Hungarian suppliers and 16\nintegrators (buyers) this year, which is a significant business and\nprofessional success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just as every year since 2014,\nHUNGEXPO and autopro.hu organized the Techtogether\nAutomotive Hungary engineering competition at the same time with\nAUTOMOTIVE HUNGARY. The contest allowed vehicle builder engineers coming from\nvarious Hungarian higher education institutions to test their skills against\neach other. This year\u2019s winner was the team of BME Motorsport who took home the prize of HUF 400 thousand. The\nsecond place was taken by StudentTecLab ELTE, while Electric Racing Miskolc\ncame in third. Just as every year, the competition gave an opportunity for\ncompanies to scout for skilled labour force among the talented young people.<\/p>\n\n\n
