With a focus\non developing hydrogen-based technology, Hungarian battery manufacturing and\nindustrial robotization, Friday saw the conclusion of the 15th MACH-TECH, 9th\nINDUSTRY DAYS and 10th AUTOMOTIVE HUNGARY exhibitions. At the HUNGEXPO Budapest\nCongress and Exhibition Center, over 400 exhibitors from 15 countries presented\ntheir products and services to nearly 15 thousand professional visitors. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the\npandemic, Hungary\u2019s largest business-industrial gathering was only hosted\nvirtually last year, which is why it was so important for domestic and\ninternational market operators to meet in person this year. Amongst other\nthings, this was one of the subjects that G\u00e1bor Ganczer<\/strong>, CEO of Hungexpo\nLtd., touched on at the opening ceremony. The host explained: a number of key\nchanges have taken place at Hungexpo over the past one year. During the\npandemic, the long-awaited congress center of the capital city was completed,\nall the pavilions were renewed and a new reception building was built at the\nmain entrance. The exhibitors and visitors have started to return, which is a\nsign of optimism, added G\u00e1bor Ganczer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u00e1szl\u00f3 Gy\u00f6rgy<\/strong>,\nthe Ministry for Innovation and Technology\u2019s (ITM) State Secretary for Economic\nPlanning and Regulation thanked the businesses for their partnership over the\nlast two and a half years in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic and for\nretaining their employees and workplaces throughout the crisis without\npostponing their investments. The State Secretary of the ITM emphasized that\nthe Russian-Ukrainian war poses a threat to peace, stability, energy supply and\nthe supply of industrial companies operating in Hungary due to the\nfragmentation of the supply chains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the exhibition\u2019s opening ceremony, Istv\u00e1n Leps\u00e9nyi<\/strong>, President of the Hungarian Hydrogen Technological Alliance signed a declaration of intent with the representatives of major corporations on the development of hydrogen-based freight transport and the related fuelling infrastructure in Hungary.<\/p>\n\n\n

The INDUSTRY DAYS \u2013 MACH-TECH Grand Prix awards were also presented at the opening ceremony. GRAND PRIX awards were presented to the companies Abraziv M\u00e9rn\u00f6ki Iroda \u00e9s G\u00e9pgy\u00e1rt\u00f3 Kft., Endrich Bauelemente Vertriebs GmbH, Losonczi Innovation Kft., Metal Trading & Consulting Tan\u00e1csad\u00f3 \u00e9s Kereskedelmi Kft., Pure Air Kft., Trigo Prec\u00edzi\u00f3s M\u00e9r\u00e9stechnika Kft. and Weidm\u00fcller Kereskedelmi Kft. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year saw\nthe 9th INDUSTRY DAYS and 15th MACH-TECH <\/strong>exhibitions, where domestic and\ninternational industry world brands, market leaders as well as small and\nmid-sized enterprises presented their products, services, unique solutions and\ndevelopments. The partner event of the assortment of industrial exhibitions,\nthe domestic exhibition of automotive suppliers and operators, the 10th<\/strong> AUTOMOTIVE\nHUNGARY<\/strong> exhibition, again provided an overview of the Hungarian market\noperators and innovations of the automotive manufacturing industry, while also\nserving as a forum where a number of domestic and international suppliers and\nservice providers could meet one another. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was\naccompanied by numerous high quality attractions organised by professional\npartners and exhibitors. Amongst other things, these dealt with the subjects of\ne-mobility, battery manufacturing, the basics of welding technology, the opportunities\ninherent in digitalization, the recovery of polymers, paperless intralogistics,\nthe development of the Hungarian hydrogen economy, German-Hungarian\ntechnologies, the future of occupational health and safety as well as 3D\nprinting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first\ntime this year, the representatives of the welding industry organized\npresentations and workshops on all four days of the exhibition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The organizers\nand the participants of the exhibition were both pleased that \u2013 just as in\nprevious years \u2013 over 14,500 professional visitors successfully concluded their\nattendance at the four-day event. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year also\nsaw the 10th Techtogether Automotive Hungary engineer competition, <\/strong>where\nthe engineer students of all the major higher education institutions of the\ncountry competed with one another. This year\u2019s competition was won by BME\nMotorsport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hybrid\nExhibition<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apart\nfrom the conventional, physical exhibitions, exhibitors again had the chance to\nattend the event virtually. Therefore, visitors had the opportunity to meet the\nrepresentatives of the trade in person as well as virtually. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
